Description

Crawl To The Depths is a procedural, block-based FPS currently in active solo development set for wider release this year.

"There is no time. The police will be onto us any second now. I know a place where they will never find us. By the time you have read this message, I have already gone there."

Your brother has fled from his humble abode into a mysterious, winding cave in the middle of the desert. Uncover the caves secrets as you use a multitude of tools and abilities to make your way down to the bottom in pursuit of him, Whilst fighting any monsters you may encounter on the way down...

Do you remember that bottomless pit, the one we used to explore as kids, right? Yeah, that one. I will meet you at the bottom. Please hurry. It probably won't be long before they come for us again.

The game contains a wide, winding procedural cave system for you to explore, which is fully destructible with every block being able to be broken. Along with this, you have 4 unique abilities each with a specific purpose to help you in your descent. Finally, you are equipped with a pickaxe, pistol, and a sword to fight enemies with.

State Of Development

Currently, this game is in early access and does not represent the final product that I hope to make. Right now my main target audience are play testers looking to give feedback on how to improve my project, but feel free to play the game just for fun as well anyways!

Install instructions

Simply download the file, and then double click the .exe file included to run.

There is currently no settings menu at the moment, However if you need to change settings you can edit them manually by opening the settings.json file in a text editor. Pressing the settings button automatically opens the file location for you.
